Training for women at Central Institute of Horticulture
One day farmers training on “Value addition of Fruits and vegetables” was organized by Central Institute of Horticulture, DAC& FW, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GOI, Medziphema, Nagaland in coordination with Chumukedima Area Christian Women Fellowship (CACWF) on 19th June 2018. The objective of the training was to help the women to expertise in the field of value addition and food processing. Altogether, 52 participants attended the training programme.
Resource persons Ms. Vinika Aomi, Junior Research Associate, ICAR-Jharnapani and Mr. Manzar Hussain, Post harvest technologist, CIH imparted hands on training and demonstration on value addition of fruits and preparation of mango squash and chili pickle.
