ONLINE TRAININGS ON ICAR-FUSICONT BIO FORMULATIONS AND IPT OF VEGETABLES

Central Institute of Horticulture, DAC & FW, Ministry of Agriculture, GOI, Medziphema conducted online trainings through Google Meet platform on 30th June 2020 on the topic “Bio-enhancers and Bio-pesticides for Organic Vegetable Production System in North Eastern Region” and Improved Production Technology of Vegetables.

The objective of the programme was to impart knowledge to the farmers regarding organic vegetable cultivation and understanding the diverse array of micro-organisms in soil which may show beneficial, neutral or detrimental effects on plant growth and also the importance and benefits of bio enhancers and bio pesticides.

Dr. T. Damodaran, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CSSRI, RRS Lucknow and Ms. Meribini Shittri, Horticulture Specialist, CIH, Nagaland was the resource person of the programme. Dr. N.K. Patle Dy. Commissioner DAC&FW cum Director CIH, along with the invited resource persons and technical experts had interactive session with the participants after the end each presentation. Altogether about 35 participants attended the online training session.
