CIH CONDUCTS REFRESHERS COURSE ON POST HARVEST
MANAGEMENT OF HORTICULTURE CROPS
Central Institute of Horticulture, Nagaland organized 3 days refreshers course on Post Harvest Management of Horticulture Crops was conducted on 12th, 13th and 15th January 2021 for ex trainees, youths and entrepreneurs. The trainees were given hands on practical demonstration on extraction of pineapple and banana fibre, preparation of wild apple candy, value addition of carambola and preparation of banana chips, Post harvest management of flowers and Marketing with respect to horticultural crops in NE region. Altogether 12 participants attended the 3 days refreshers course.
Technical officers of the Institute delivered the training through power point presentation. Each training session was followed by interactive session between the technical expert and the participants.
