Low cost Sanitization chamber
To contain the spread of COVID-19 in the campus, a low cost sanitization chamber was constructed by the institute during the lockdown period. Every person entering the institute is being sanitized in the chamber.

Production and supply of quality planting material
a) Rootstock raised: Sowing of Citrus rootstock (Rangpur Lime) seed in 75 trays.
b) Plants propagated: Cashewnut (V-4, VRI-3, BBSR-1) = 250 nos., Guava (Allahabad Safeda, L-49) = 150 nos., Citrus (Acid lime & Khasi Mandarin) = 950 nos.
c) Sale: During the lockdown 12101 nos. of acid lime plants, 280 nos. of cashewnut plants, 1775 nos. of khasi mandarin plants and 220 nos. of guava plants have been sold.

Quarantine centre at CIH, Nagaland: The Institute has been requisitioned as a quarantine centre by the Govt. of Nagaland. 16 returnees have been accommodated in CIH guest house cum hostel
Video conferencing
A video conferencing was organized by Dept. of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare on 27th April 2020 to deliberate on the issues of marketing and supply chain of agricultural produce. The Institute coordinated for participation of FPO Dimapur, FPO Kohima & FPC Molvom in the video conference.
Sale of farm produce
The farm produce sold during lockdown are as follows. Anthurium-1585 nos., Carnation-1725 nos., Gerbera-3440 nos., Gladiolus-159., Golden ros-220 nos., Peach-35 kgs., Strawberry-19 kgs., Sweet potato-9 kgs.
