Farmers training at Central Institute of Horticulture

A one day farmers training on ‘Value addition of horticulture crop for livelihood’ was organized by Central Institute of Horticulture, DAC & FW, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India, Medziphema, Nagaland, for the women of Medziphema town on 22nd May 2018.

The training was organized so as to impart technical knowledge on processing and value addition of horticulture crops such preparation of pickle, ketchup and squash. Altogether, 54 participants attended the training programme whereby certificates and training materials were distributed to all the participants.
