CIH conducts 3 days Farmers Training at Ri Bhoi district, Meghalaya

Three days farmers training on “Doubling farmer’s income through holistic approach in cultivation of horticulture crops” was organized by Central Institute of Horticulture, DAC & FW, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, GOI, Medziphema, in collaboration with ICAR, KVK, Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya w.e.f 25th to 27th Sept 2018 at ICAR Research complex for NEH Regoin, Barapani, Meghalaya.

The training topics were selected according to needs of the farmers of the region and the resource persons were scientist and subject matter specialist from ICAR, KVK, Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya. The training included power point presentation and field visit to the research farms. Altogether, 150 farmers from three different villages of Ri bhoi district participated in the said training programme.
