CIH CONDUCTS TRAINING ON VARIOUS HORTICULTURAL TECHNOLOGIES

Central Institute of Horticulture, Nagaland organized 2 days training on Organic Farming was conducted on 14th and 15th January 2021, where participants were provided training on concept and principles of organic farming, package and practices of important fruits and vegetables, importance and uses of bio inputs and organic inputs and organic value chain in horticulture. Field visit to institutes’ demonstration farm and demonstration and use of vermicompost was also conducted. The participants were farmers, educated unemployed youths and FPCs from Dimapur and Bungsang village. A total of 20 participants attended the training programme.
