Skill Course for Gardeners begins at CIH, Nagaland
Skill development course for Gardeners commenced at Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland on 4th August 2017. The course is accredited by Agriculture Skill Council of India and is of 260 hours.
Director, CIH, Dr. Lallan Ram in his address during the inaugural programme highlighted the prospects of horticulture in North East and the need to acquire proper skills. He encouraged the trainees to develop their gardening skills through the course. Shri. Andrew, Asst. Director, SFAC, Meghalaya stressed on the importance of skill courses as it increases a person’s employability and productivity in a particular field of work.
