CELEBRATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY AT CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF HORTICULTURE

Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema celebrated world Environment Day at its campus on the 5th of June 2023 under the theme #Beatplastic pollution. The Institute in the presence of the Director i/c Dr. N.K Patle and Member of Board of Management Shri. Shiv Anjan Dalmia has undertaken various programmes in its campus with the aim to individually and collectively take action for protecting and conserving the environment. In an attempt to spread awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastic; knowledge about environment related labels etc different activities such as field visits on sustainable horticulture, poster competition on plastic pollution and a plantation drive was carried out in the campus.
